Initially Edward trained as a wooden boat builder at the renowned International Boatbuilding Training College in Lowestoft, Suffolk, completing his qualifications in 2004. He worked on a range of classic boats and mega yachts as far afield as the Caribbean, both freelancing and working for refit companies. In 2007 he spent 2 years cabinet making for Stewart Linford, a highly-esteemed company in the UK, on projects for clients such as Sir Steve Redgrave and the Ghetty family. He then went on to work for Automarine Ltd in Poole, Dorset, for two more years, producing exceptional furniture for Sunseeker. Edward has always had an eye for detail, takes pride in his work and strives to ensure that Ideal Creations achieve the level of perfection in all their projects that is usually associated with the woodwork in high quality yachts.
